The CEO, Narendra V. Udeshi graduated from Bombay University in 1968 with a B.Sc degree majoring in chemistry and physics.

He started his career as a junior chemist in a newly formed rubber company in Lonavla. Enrolling as an ordinary member of Plastics and Rubber Institute, he passed the licentiate examination in 1972.

• From 1972 to 1978, he worked in 4 medium scale industrial units as chief technical manager in top management position.
• As a first generation entrepreneur, he started his own proprietary company in 1978 and established a small scale industrial unit in MIDC industrial area of Navi Mumbai in 1983. NRE went on to become a manufacturer of niche products for Industrial and Automotive Applications.
• Meenkshi Udeshi completed her B.Sc degree in Chemistry and had a career as a research analyst for companies manufacturing Hydrogen Peroxide before she joined NRE. At NRE she was instrumental in streamlining the production and administration department.
• In 2009, it was awarded "Certificate of Merit for Export or Automotive & Industrial Molded Rubber Products."
• The company also received its ISO certificate in 2005 and IATF 16949 in 2024.
• The company is now run by second generation entrepreneur Mrs. Mansi Udeshi Upreti along with her sister Mrs. Tanvi Udeshi Bhatia.
• Mansi Upreti joined NRE after finishing high school in 1994 and then got hands-on training in their factory. She did her graduation in Arts-literature and Diploma in Business Management. This was the time her 14 years of hands-on training helped her navigate through running a rubber products manufacturing company.
• Tanvi Bhatia, also an Arts-Literature graduate joined the business in 2008 after having a 5 year experience in the BPO industry where she started off as a fresher and reached a Team leader level during her time. Her experience with Six-Sigma, Quality checks and expertise at documentation made her the right person for handling Administration and back-end nitty-gritties of the company.
• Today the company is in the strong hands of entrepreneurial women who are taking this company ahead on the values and teachings for their mentors Mr and Mrs. Udeshi who believed that Quality and Innovation are the foundations for the success of any manufacturing company.
